Wildlife photography and guiding fellow enthusiasts are my greatest passions. There's a profound joy in immersing myself in nature, capturing its raw beauty and sharing those moments with others. Guiding photographers allows me to combine my love for wildlife with my desire to inspire and educate, fostering connections and creating memories that last a lifetime.
Through photography, we find solace in the simple wonders of the world and forge bonds that transcend language and culture. It's a privilege to share this passion with others and to play a part in their journey of discovery and appreciation for the natural world.
About Me
Welcome to my world of adventure and exploration! I'm Dee Webb, and my journey through life has been a whirlwind of experiences that have shaped who I am today. Growing up in the vast and untamed landscapes of outback Australia, I developed a deep connection with the outdoors that would influence my life in profound ways.At the age of 17, I embarked on an exciting chapter by moving to Canada on a student exchange. My destination was Birdseye Ranch, nestled on the outskirts of the breathtaking Waterton National Park. Surrounded by the beauty of the Canadian wilderness, I discovered a new world of possibilities and fell in love with the idea of living in harmony with nature.After my time on Birdseye Ranch, I settled in Okotoks—a place I proudly call home. Here, I embraced the role of a nurturer, running a Dayhome where I had the privilege of supporting and fostering the growth of many young minds. The experience was incredibly rewarding, shaping my perspective on family and community.A few years back, a monumental decision changed the course of my life once again. My husband and I chose to simplify our existence, trading most of our belongings for the freedom of a holiday trailer. Our summer days are now spent on the outskirts of Waterton, surrounded by the majesty of nature that first captured my heart. As winter descends, we trade snow for sand and venture to the enchanting Costa Rica, where a slower pace of life rejuvenates our spirits.Our journey is one of gratitude, as we recognize the incredible life we've cultivated. We've learned to savor the beauty of a sunrise, the laughter shared around a campfire, and the thrill of embracing the unknown. The future holds exciting prospects, including our dream of revisiting Australia—a return to my roots—and exploring even more of this wondrous planet we call home.Through it all, Southern Alberta remains our steadfast anchor, the place where our family thrives and where our hearts find solace.
